Strings and Piano Repertoire Requirements (New Students Only)

String players and pianists must present one substantial work. String players may ask specific questions about their audition repertoire to the program director. Pianists may contact Enrico Elisi.

New Students Auditioning for GVCM

LIVE AUDITIONS

Starting in 2009, live auditions for new students will happen in three locations:

Audition dates will vary for each location. Click on the location closest to you if you wish to find out all the details.

VIDEO AUDITIONS

If you live more than 50 miles radius from one of the three locations above, you are eligible to send a video-tape, or a DVD with the same repertoire requirements of the live audition.

String players must click the link "Las Vegas, Nevada" above and follow the procedure for video auditions listed at that page. Pianists must click the link "State College" above and follow the procedure for video auditions listed at that page.

Returning Students

Apply by filling out the online application form. Deadline: February 20, 2009.
Send a non-refundable application fee of $25 by 3/1/2009 (check payable to "Green Valley Chamber Music") to the following address:

Send a deposit fee of $75 by April 10, 2009. The deposit is necessary in order to hold your place for the forthcoming festival. The deposit will be applied towards your final tuition balance.
Send a check of $275 ($350 tuition minus $75 Deposit) by May 1, 2009.
